Pre-Reno Home Pics

This is  the current facade. I've already moved the plants in front of that window to make room for a new front entry and windows.  That was hard work but at least I established two new flower beds. However, the downside is that the hostas were 15-20 feet away from the house and the deer got 'em. 

The long room to the right of the decrepit deck is the great room (38x15) that we built 5 or so years ago. (above, left) It will be nice to have a lower deck attached to step onto.

The current side door will be removed. The area with the little grill will be the new mudroom which will be attached to the new family room that will be situated about 3 feet beyond that door and take over the entire deck area.

Main Bathroom

Yes, a gut job indeed.

Former LR/DR will become front entry room with a home made shoji screen that will allow one half to be a play area. We'll get a new door and window, both of which will be shifted over.

This kitchen entry and pantry will be no more. Base cabinets will go under the window and in front of door. Pantry knocked out for an open concept into the new upstairs family room addition.

This deck is now gone and a 24x20 family room will be built with a staircase leading to a new bedroom and exercise room/office. A new deck will be built that will have a lower level in front of our current great room.
