Old view:
Pantry and door replaced by base cabinets and granite. The left is my hot beverage station. I still have to put floating shelves between the mirror and the window. The window section is my baking area. The mirror hides a panel box.
And now the view from the front entry:
Below: Our budget didn't support constructing a wall to divide this playroom/future office from the "foyer", but the room divider works for now. I like that I can see the boys play while I'm in the cooking triangle.
Usually the weekly menu is posted. But I like using the chalkboard for special events too!
Finally, the view from the chalkboard wall. The kitchen used to be dark. The new addition brings in so much natural light! Thanks to our architect and Jefferson Area Builders! A great design, skillful craftsmanship and construction created a wonderful open floor plan for a big family!
This kitchen is perfect for a wannabe chef!
